You and your friends were playing Truth or Dare at lunch. Natrually, everyone kind of made a silent agreement to take Truth out completey. It was currently your best friend's turn, and she had chosen to dare you.
"Okay, _________, I dare you to... Ask Berwald to play the Pocky game!" She said smirking, almost as if she'd been waiting for this.
"W-what?!" You said, faintly blushing.
"Yup! It's a dare, so you have too!" She said triumphantly. "And you do have a huge crush on him~" She whispered, nudging your shoulder.
"But... I don't have any pocky." You said, feeling relieved.
"Ah, I have some. Here~" She said smoothly, handing you a box of Pocky.
"Shit..." You murmured, taking the Pocky. One of the downsides of having an otaku for a best friend... You thought, the feeling of greif coming back.
You sighed and walked over to where Berwald was sitting and gripped the box of Pocky. What if he declined your offer, or worse...?
"Er, hey, Berwald, do you want to play the P-pocky game with me?" You stuttered, hoping your blushing wasn't all that obvious.
"Sure." He said smoothly, which was rather surprising. You nearly stopped breathing as you placed the peace of pocky in his mouth.
You could feel your face heating up as you two slowly nibbled on the Pocky. You got closer and closer... Until the the Pocky broke in half.
"Er- um, sorry about that..." You half-muttered as you looked down at your feet.
"Mmkay... Can I still have that kiss?" He said coolly, a microscophic smile tugging at his lips.
"S-sure." You said, your face getting even redder as he leaned in.
Soon you found yourself leaning in as well. The kiss was light and sweet, satisfying but leaving both of you wanting more.
"So, I'll see you around then?" Berwald said, his smile a little bigger.
"Of course, see you around then!" You said smiling as well.

He was a dreamer, I was not. He appreciates everything, I didn't. He sees life with colours, I see it with darkness. That's why I keep wondering, how? How did he become my last and only love?
His small brown eyes met mine during the meeting for young men soldiers. The war was at its peak and involved countries desperately needed men. I signed up because life for me is nothing and so I might as well waste it with honour. He, on the other hand, joined the army because he was forced to do so.
